Crystal Legal Services is proud to support Comic Relief each year, helping to fundraise for both its alternating Red Nose Day and Sports Relief causes. This year we became an official Red Nose Day call centre on Friday, 24th March, when around 40 members of staff volunteered to receive donation calls. Employees here raised over £500 internally through fundraising activities such as fancy dress, bake sales, tuck shops, sponsored head shaving, leg waxing, an in-house bike ride, raffles, challenges, games and so much more.
Red Nose Day comes along every two years and combines two very British things: having a laugh and helping others. Thanks to the generosity of the great British public, Comic Relief has raised over £1 billion which has gone towards changing the lives of people in the UK and across Africa.
This is the third year in a row that the Crystal Legal employees, who are usually busy helping people reclaim mis-sold PPI and Packaged Bank Accounts, swapped focus to help Comic Relief receive donations and volunteered until midnight to answer the public’s donation calls. CEO, Tony Shields said, “The generosity of the British public is amazing and the team at CLS are all pleased and proud to have helped make a difference to Comic Relief 2017.”
